How to Login to AIOU Portal?
Here is the simple guide on how to login to AIOU portal online.
1: Access the Official Website
- Visit the AIOU Official Website
- Open your browser and go to the official website of Allama Iqbal Open University.
- Find the Login/Sign-In Option
- On the homepage, look for the Login/Sign-In button.
- Note: If you don’t have an account yet, you’ll need to create one first.
- Click on Create Account
- Select the Create Account button to get started.
2: Creating an Account
- Fill in Your Details
- After clicking on Create Account, you will see a form. Fill it out with:
- Your email address
- Your phone number

- It’s best to provide both email and phone number for easier recovery options.
- Create a Password
- Enter a password you can easily remember.
- Re-enter the password in the confirmation box.
- Submit Your Account Information
- Once you’ve entered all the details, click on Create Account.
- If you already have an account, skip this step and proceed to logging in.
3: Logging In
- Go to the login page.
- Return to the Login section on the website.
- Enter Your Credentials
- Type in the email address or phone number you used during account creation.
- Enter your password.
- Click Login
After logging in, you’ll be directed to your account dashboard.
Step 4: Applying for Admission
- Access the Application Section
- On your dashboard, you’ll see a button labelled Apply for More Programs. Click it to begin a new application
- Choose a Program
- You’ll see two options:
- Face-to-Face Program
- Open Distance Learning Program (ODL)
- You’ll see two options:
Select the type of program you’re applying for.
- Fill Out the Application Form
- Enter the required details about your educational background.
- If prompted to copy information from a previous application, select Yes or Cancel based on your preference.
- Upload Your Picture
- The system will ask you to upload a clear photo. Ensure it meets the required format.
Step 5: Finalizing Your Application
- Review Your Details
- Check all the information you entered to ensure there are no mistakes.
- Submit Your Application
- Once satisfied, click Submit to send your application.
- Keep a Copy
- Download or print a copy of your application for your records.
